more insperation

yes the saw tortures are defently something that inspired my london dungeon idea. not that i used any of the torture styles that they used in the film. i did use the idea of using torture themes to promote the london dungeon and i thought it fitted the style of a dungeon that mainly has torture in it and medievil deseaises and stuff.

3 last storyboards - burning scene, coffin scene and hanging scene

in the final film the coffin scene has 4 extra spikes that come into the coffin to make it a little more dramatic

ive finished!

yes one day early and i made it. i put togther my footage and did the sounds today. im fairly happy with it. It is really funny alot more so with the sounds really brings it together. i showed the other lads on the big screen in class and they thought it was kool a decent attempt anyway seeing as i was on my own. But i would of liked to added blood into the scenes but would of taken to long and i was trying to do it on after effects but it was a little to fiddly to do so i left it alone. soon i will upload it onto youtube and post it on here. oh and the final 3 storyboards will be uploaded soon when i get home maybe or at the weekend

rendering complete - sounds underway

well last week friday i finished the final film and got it renderd out. So all my short clips are renderd out now, i just need to put them into premeir to add the sounds and maybe some small editing. once that it done i will bring it into after effects to see if there is anyway to make it look better. ive also bee gathering sounds for gareths project to as i need those. tommrow when i come into college i will also rent out that sfx harddrive that i used in the first year for the storyboard project that i did.

but overall i guess i made it even though it did snow for a few days making it hell to get to college i thought id never finish these movies. But i did and im very pleased that i got it all done on time. its not as good as i wanted it to be though. if i had a proper animator working on it and i just did the modeling lighting and textureing that would of been nice. ill try burn the final cd by friday and get it also uploaded onto youtube so i can link it on here also for people to watch. im looking forward t my easter break now and when i get back hope to start the next project in full gear hopefully in a group this time also =)

i didnt have to much problems last week, well i did. when ever i tried to import moom ino one of my movies the whole maya would crash every time. so solve this i went home re put moom onto my memory stick and used it the next day and it worked fine. so i gues the old moom iwas using just errored out on me have no idea why though. but other then that was it. some lighting errors also on render farm. renderfarm was messing my my lighting on rendering when in maya render it was fine. so i didnt use render farm and used pc to render and worked.

the last to films

i think the last to films might be around 5 or so seconds, becuase not much happens in them. but i will see how it goes. just letting people know that.

some insperation i forgot about

yes i did like these books when i was younger, i think i had this one but im not sure if it have it anymore. but basicly i liked the style of this book and its drawings showing cartoon style torture to educate kids without being to graphic. i like the drawings in the book really simple and the colours to. so thought id post it

not that happy today

tried working on my 5th film the coffin one. and maya keeps crashing when i import moom into the scene. did this multiple time so i gave up and left college lol. but im at home now so i will re download the moom file and come back to tommrow and see how that works. also if it till happens i will try work on another pc. and good news im still working to my schedule so all is good still. i can still finish this project on time and make it look nice in after effects maybe and add some sound which is kool.
